this is the red one. The small type at the bottom of the page says "normally $299". It's on sale fairly often in the $200 range.

That's not a bad deal. That's a great starter kit for a home mechanic, for a young man to keep him out of his father's tools or the beginnings to a truck tool bag.

"day after Christmas" It's Boxing day!

In Canada, we don't have Black Friday. Instead we have boxing day which is on Dec 26th. Same idea tho... Lots of sales, crazy people and lineups, etc. It's really just an excuse for the stores to heavily discount all of the mechandise that they brought in for Xmas but wern't able to sell.

bought the 155 pc craftsman kit for my 14 year old for his first set, he is good at keeping my tools put away so I figured he should start hi own.

went to sears today for an exchange and they had the large gear wrench wratcheting set on sale for 59.00! this was for the combined large set both metric and standard. usually it is 69.00 for just metric or just standard already had a standard set but bought it anyway.
