I carry a few tools in the truck that I don't use often, but when I need to get them out, its because I couldn't have done it any other way!

Today, my Bosch angle driver and Vessel screwdriver saved the day. I was mounting some LED lights (terrible lights, customer purchased them...) under a gunnel, the driver/bit JUST fit! I could have screwed them in with a stubby, but someone before me used a Robertson #2 to mount the old lights, which I don't carry a stubby of! The vessel with square bit saved the day to remove old!

What are you "saves the day" tools?

What is the hand tool in the OP's picture? It looks like a bit ratchet.

Yeah, Vessel bit ratchet. Don’t use it very often, it when I need it, it’s likely the only tool that will
get the job done!

Plain ol' ordinary oxy-acetylene torch. God bless the smoke-wrench. The true "Blue-point" tool.

If it's in one piece, and you need it in two pieces...oxy-acetylene.

Yes, there are better, more expensive, and/or more modern methods to get the same or better results, but the equipment is so specialized that it's often impractical.
