been looking online for an electric heater for the garage and came across this. for the price and the btu's it seems pretty decent

i have about a 500sq/f garage with pretty much the only area not isulated is the garage doors. It says 19000btu which for its size seems pretty high.

anyone have any experience with these?

im pretty much just looking to keep the garage at about 60 during the winter just when im out there working.

thx!

Agusta I have the Dayton 3VU36 ( same heater ) in my garage which is pretty close in size to yours . I would highly recomend insulating the doors ( its easy and theres plenty of examples on here ) . My house was built in the mid 60's so theres no insulation inside the walls and not much in the ceiling . I do have an insulated 16X8 door and I can actually get my garage up to 80* on a day when its in the teens outside . I prefer to work in 60-65* garage and in I am hard at it 55-60* is plenty warm.
