Dayton abrasive cut off saw

Okay, looking for some help here. I bought this Dayton machine 10" cut off saw. It looks to have been hard wired and 220 single phase. 15Amp 208-230 volt. My question is can I put the same plug that is on my 220 air compressor and run this machine?

Update. The power cord is 4 wire red green white and black

If your compressor is running off 240VAC single phase then yes, you can use the same plug. You only need two hots and a ground for that motor wired for 208-230VAC.

The saw is up and running!! It runs great and cuts like a hot knife in butter! Not bad for 75 bucks!! Thank you for the help!!

So what was with the 4 wire cord? Sounds like the previous owner used some cordage with an extra unused wire in it. As you found out, you only need 2 hots and a ground for 220 or a hot, neutral and gnd. for 120.

I was told that possibly the machine was hard wired in a shop before and 4 wires were used......beyond my knowledge.
