Found this brake/shear/slip roller 20 gauge made by Dayton on Craigslist. Guy had it for $80 but I figured I'll offer $60 if it worked and didn't have any magor problems. Get to place ask "what the deal" is with selling it. He tells me that he helped a friend clean out his storage unit and doesn't know anything more about it. I'm looking the tool over and he says he has only had two calls on it and if I want it he will sell for $60. I'm thinking should I offer $40 but everything looks good except for some weathering and real dirty. He then says am I in need of a saw? I figure $60 was a fair price and he already was there at the price so I took it. He ask again about this miter saw and says he doesn't know if it works but I can take it if I want it. I said sure. I can alway sell the saw and recoup some money. How do you guys think I did on this tool purchase?
