Dayton G73, plug and cord?

I ran out of 240V circuits and considering putting a dryer cord on it to share with my air compressor.

Yes I know the 240V plugs aren't meant to be removed alot, but my uses are not frequent.

You guys know alot about this heater. Wouldn't the everytime I plug it in, throw a big spark if I forgot to turn the thermostat all the way down.. I know the fan has a delay circuit, but I think the heat elements want to heat up right away.

Yes, you would need to remember to turn it off. Depending on temp, it'll start pulling power as soon as you plug it in.

you dont want to plug anything like that in under load. the arcing will damage the receptacle and plug
