I bought a natural gas heater at an auction and it is hung and the gas is connected but I am having problems understanding where the 6th wire goes.
I've got hot, neutral and ground figured out. So that leaves 2 wires for the thermostat and a spare. I found a schematic at Granger and it says to connect the 2 pink wires to go to one side of the thermostat. I thought it was all ready to go and got clicking (assuming it was trying to fire up the pilot) but it never turned on. I even got a spark in the thermostat when I slid it to a higher temp to turn on. Any suggestions before I pay an HVAC company to solve my problem?
