I picked up this Dayton media blast cabinet this past weekend. While on the small side, this cabinet is well-built and made in the USA and should be adequate for most of my needs. Unfortunately, it seems to be pretty old and because of that, I am unable to find any information and manual online. In fact, I've not even been able to find anything resembling it through Google images. As such, I'm reaching out to GJ'ers to answer questions about putting together an adequate dust collection system. I've seen other posts about using a shop-vac with an inline water bucket dust trap.
This cabinet has a small squirrel cage exhaust fan mounted to the back which doesn't have a lot of power. Is this by itself adequate to remove the dust from the cabinet without the assistance of a shop-vac? I would appreciate any suggestions and opinions on setting up a reliable dust collection system for this unit.
