Hi,
a aging family member with macular degeneration came to own a couple of used Dazor Circline Magnifier lamps - without clamps or mounts or a base of any kind.
Does anybody here have a such a lamp and willing to do a quick measure of the round post at the bottom of the arm. I am looking for diameter and length. I plan on building a base from some heavy steel scrap I have. I'd measure myself but it will be a few months before I can get my hands on the actual lamp.
The first is a pic of the lamp with a mount. The second pic is of the vintage style arm. I am pretty sure the lamp post is the same size for all Dazors, current and vintage.
Thanks for your help and time!
Cheers

The posts on architect's lamps are all pretty standardized. They're 1/2" in diameter, and are a little over 1" in depth. I can measure my antique Dazor if you you really need, but it fits in the same clamps as my Ikea parallelogram lamps. Same as my Luxo lamps too.
