DC motor

I know this isn't the same but I don't know squat about electricity or motors and even missed the fact it was a motor problem and not a driveline issue but its broke or dirty. 12 DC come out of my Sons Caddilac. He has it all torn out now, would be great to find some less than retail outlet, ebay etc. The rest of the thing is tuff as snot for as cheap as it is made, plastic gearbox and beat hard.

If I am gone for long this is the type of thing I come home to.
I was cultivating a small field the other day and needed a hand with a spot of pipe connections and there is a road along side so he followed along like a puppy on the golf cart meeting me at the ends. At one point he comes over with tears and says the cart broke down and I pretty much said crying about it wont help but I was busy, he went back and took seat off and managed to find a linkage that fell off, proud as can be he fixed it so then it was another 20 minutes of driving back and forth hitting the same bump, service work, getting started again. It was super fun to watch.

Looks very similar to a RC car motor. Need something next to it for scale though.

Its rough, my bud speculated magnet busted but we didn't have time to dissect it. There must be a zillion of these. This one is 2. Just learning to talk. Has no problem with a floor jack,, at least when he isn't trying to drive something.
