Just came across this thread. Exciting to see the DBE is almost ready. Is the new design a little thinner than the prototypes? It looks like it is. I could see that along with the round instead of hexagon shaped shaft being nicer to hold while using it.

I just used mine last week doing some emergency plumbing repairs to knock apart some really tight PVC elbows from a test fitup. It's definitely a handy tool both to hammer on and to use by itself as a little handheld battering ram.

I believe the new design is thinner than the prototypes. There are a few blemished versions from the new mold floating around. I'm hoping to get some feedback. Another blemished version should be heading out the door today with an order that was placed very early this morning.

Thumbs up for your website and the videos.

I have one of the blems mentioned, and it feels great in my hands. Primarily been repairing siding and trim on an 1880's Victorian home for the last few weeks, prepping for the painters to come. Any time I've needed to persuade pieces into place, I've reached for the extender, and it's done exactly what I hoped to accomplish. That having been said, I haven't had the opportunity to really give it a work out yet. Looking forward to REALLY putting it through the paces, and will update. Thanks Trusty-Cook!

Thanks for the feedback.

I believe that we are waiting on the steel to start production of the extender.

Excellent! Any more thought as to a striking face on the small end? Either way I’ll buy a couple to hand off to friends.

I am going to keep an eye on this thread. I have been wanting one of these since they were first talked about. The idea of a metal small end is great also.

We are in production. We have green extenders coming off the line. The green extenders in the photo are untrimmed. I should be making a post next week about quotes for pre-orders, as I did with the cousin. The extenders will be available in red, green, and blue. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks.
