Dead blow hammers- Get a 1, 2 or 3lb hammer?

My local Sears Hardware is going out of business. Nothing stellar in regards to sales as of yet, but I thinking of picking up a dead blow with points that I have.

What is a good weight for a general use dead blow? Sears offers them in 1, 2 or 3 lb weights.

Theirs are US made and would come around +/- $20 with the sale and even less with my points.

Get all three if you can. If not, 1 and 3.

I'll say 1 and 3. Can always swing the 1 a little harder or the 3 a little less
