You guys do know that Jeff at Trusty Cook extended a 20% off coupon code deal to all of us on GJ for as many hammers as you want until the end of January...right? You can even still get free shipping if your order totals $150. I got my order last Friday.

Does this mean I have to spend $187.50 before the discount to get free shipping? I know some people can do that, but as someone who doesn't work with tools for a living, that's out of my budget. This does happen to be the cheapest place I have been able to find a decent USA dead blow ball pien though.

Rubber or metal dead blow? I have had a couple snap on metal dead blows. I had an old orange one, and the new style. I traded them both. I have never needed a dead blow metal hammer. My small sledge has always been better. Same head size as the deadblow. Just heavier. For the rubber ones, I have tried snap on, and some cheap ones. None have lasted long, except for a cheap walmart popular machanics one I bought about 20 years ago. 28 oz, and I have pounded the dog **** out of it. It has hardly chipped and is still going strong. Made in usa.....no idea who made it. I think it has lasted so long just cause its not heavy enough to beat itself apart. I would try a bigger one if I ever found one.
