Thanks for the pics! So, what is your verdict on these pliers? Have you tried them out yet? We seem to be getting a wide range of opinions from "they ****" to "good deal for the price"! I love plastic cases that keep everything organized and helps you remember to put all the pliers back "home"; helps to keep your tools from getting lost! :)

You're welcome!

So far, I've only used them to clean and lube two ratchets. They worked quite nicely. The build quality isn't something you can run a truck over but they get the job done. The amount of flex in the joint is larger than I'd like but for the low torque that you need to apply, it's fine. Definitely easier to work with than cheap interchangeable tip ones. If I'd be rebuilding transmissions every day, I'd want something machined and not stamped... However, I guess that would set you back a great deal of $$$.

I also like the plastic case (even though it doesn't lay completely flat and wobbles when it's open). You notice when you didn't put the one up that fell down into get guts of your engine... Also makes them easier to store. I have a drawer of plastic cases for stuff I don't use on a daily basis...

My bottom line: "Good deal for the price" (at $32 from Sears, not almost $200 from Snap-on ;-)
