ive had that same set for a coulpe years now. great set. all 6pt. seems these are the stamped set and NOT laser, thats why on clearance...50% off is incredible.

Just wanted to give thanks to mikeatrpi!!!!

I picked up one of these sets when it was still 50% off. Great deal as I was looking to buy a full set of sockets and this has everything minus deep 1/2". But I will just use my impacts as there will be few times I would need a thin wall.

Plan on dumping the ratchets on ebay; watched a new set (all 3) go for $41 plus shipping! If I some how manage that, it would bring my total down to $60+tax for 125 sockets, not too shabby at all.

Wrenches are 7pc sae/metrix 6pt combos... eh Ill find a home for them somewhere, not worth anything on ebay.

Not to keep bringing an old thread back, but just a small update for anyone who cares.

Ebay'd the ratchets and wrenches and got $59.10 for everything, bringing the total for 125 sockets down to just under $49 with tax!

Wow that's a great idea! I never thought of doing that. Next time I see a set like this maybe I'll buy it and pawn off the stuff I don't need on EBay... like the wrenches or ratchets as you did. Good deal.

Stopped at Sears yesterday and they had a 180 piece set, 1/4 & 3/8 sae & metric sockets plus wrenches, allens and screwdriver for $100. About 50 cents per piece, I bought one.
