That should be friction slides.. but its a KRL box so its built hella tough.

Hell...for that kind of deal I'd drive six hours for it. It would be well worth it.

It looks like KRA 500/550 series. It's a great box. The drawer slides are friction except the bottom one is bb. Don't get hung up on drawer slides because the friction ones are smooth as silk when kept lubricated.

That box is worth triple the asking price IMHO. It's built as well as a KRL.

Hope one of you snag it. It's far superior to Craftsman or HF.

I've heard it called "big bertha" because it was SO's biggest box in the 80's. I've also heard it called the "coke machine".

Here's mine. It holds a ton of tools and consumes a very small floor space footprint. It should also be an easy one to resell for that very reason.

Box is about 10 minutes from me..........but I just sold one in better condition for about the same coin.
