Deals on M12 batteries?

M12 batteries seem really expensive at Home Depot. Are there any other retailers that sell them cheaper, or is it pretty much the same everywhere? Are there any generic or off-brand M12 batteries that are favored? Some of those can be had for as cheap as $10.

The 3.0ah 2-packs are on sale for $99. Unless you need the 5.0ah, I think that is the best deal right now for M12.

I personally do not buy Milwaukee power tools or batteries from anywhere except HD.

The two pack for 99 bucks is a pretty good deal. Every once in awhile NAPA has some deals on them as well.


I have HEARD that the el cheapo M12 batteries actually work pretty good but I don't have any myself. I'm sure the level of quality is probably all over the place since we are dealing with cheap chinese stuff.

IIRC every Monday is Special Buys at Home Depot on power tools. Find a Milwaukee tool you don't have ,packaged with a couple batteries/some form of bonus.

There are deals available on every M12 battery except for the one that's truly good which is the 5.0 XC which has apparently become hard to come by, perhaps due to the trade war, These use to go on sale frequently but not anymore.
