I just went through my Sticker Box, a 12x24x8 cardboard box that is filled with un stuck stickers that I have collected since the late 70s. I have been in the Auto Parts business since then, speed shop and aftermarket and dealership so I have amassed a fair amount of decals. Not much for sticking em on my took box, although it does have a few faves stuck to it. What should I do to display them? Or should I just leave em where thay are or E-Bay em?

Take them to a photo place and have them matted and framed. The ones you don't want give to your friends or other board members.

I recently insulated my shop doors with foam board with the foil side to the inside of the shop. I took my collection of racing decals and stuck them to the foil.

if you have a blank place on a wall. take a thin plywood sheet paint it a light color, stick them on in some kind of arrangement, then cover with plex. and hang like a plack.

Do whatever you want with them. A friend sprays the backing with a little spray adhesive so he can temporarily stick them without peeling them from the backing.

A friends dad worked at a sticker factory in the 50's when he was a teen. I found out this tidbit of info when I visited my friends grandparents garage. There were so many stickers everywhere that you couldn't see the walls.

X5 or 6 - might like some of the older items if you have extras, would look good on the old race car maybe. Otherwise, I'd do what others suggested and maybe having some mounted in a large frame.

Scan them, then sell the originals. You can print new ones for you (and friends) whenever you want!

I'd like to see what you have. I'm looking for one from Honest Charlies Speed Shop in TN currently owned by Coker. I'd rather have the old decal though. You have any of the old wet and slide off ones?

If you sold them off one by one, you'd make some serious money me thinks. Older cam shaft businesses that have gone and things like that are valuable.

I mounted mine on plastic sheets (light grill stuff) and screwed them.

Zeke, I don't have any of the old ones but I do have some newer ones. If you would like some, PM me your address and I will send you a few.

I've thought about displaying some of my old/interesting motorcycle stickers by laying them out on a large desk top and then covering with thick glass or plexi-glass. I've also considered sticking them on a shop refrigerator, but if the fridge ever conked out, there goes my sticker collection.

If you happen to have an NGK spark plug sticker that reads: "ThiNGK NGK" , I'd consider buying that from you.

I painted a table, stuck them to the top, and then covered it with Plexiglas and engine turned some aluminum for the trim. It's now being used as a laptop cart in the garage, but I throw a piece of cardboard over the top if I'm going to use it for anything really dirty.

starwolve...that is BADA$$!!!! it would be cool to do that on a final assembly bench too!!

The only downside is that the table is "busy" and it's hard to find small parts on it. I don't think I'd do it again on a heavily used table, but this one is mainly a light duty cart to be rolled around as needed.

I like the Magnet trick. I did that with a Hurst sticker and a **** Nurse sticker, it works GREAT!!! In the future, I will do that with ALL my stickers.
