I'm trying to get a decent bottle jack, ive been borrowing my dad's 80's craftsman. Are craftsman bottle jacks good anymore? Northern Tool has Torin, not sure what the quality of those is either. Ive thought about putting some big money into getting an AC bottle jack but i cant seem to find any dealers. Any input would be appreciated.

Norco (japan) or US Jacks (USA) are about the only non china made jacks around. Stay away from the made in china jacks.

Local to boot.. Most of your Sears, Torin, Hf Bottle Jacks are gonna be on par with each other. Im not real fond of any Bottle jack that utilizes the cartridge valve system versus the Higher end stuff that utilizes Seats machined into the block with Balls/Springs. Another thing that runs rampant in these lower priced Bottle jacks are Cheap Seals in regards to the Main Ram seal and Pump Piston seal. I might add.. UsJack, Norco are also some Fine Bottle Jacks. One of these days im gonna get a chance to get into the shop and start unloading some Bottle Jacks, I literally have 100's of Quality US made Bottle Jacks ranging from 1 1/2 ton all the way up to 50 ton that i plan on listing here in the Classifieds. Good Luck...

I bought a 2ton Kobalt for like 8$ on sale, I love it. Small and can lift light and handle heavy loads

sadly Milwaukee Hydraulics no longer makes bottle jacks or jack stands. Ive heard of US Jacks before but I cant find a dealer online, Norco is easy to find online

Hmmm... Is this Recent? I know CRTDI recently bought some Milwaukee Jack stands to go with his Milwaukee Floor jack.

I thought I read on here that the jack stands were discontinued a few years ago

Hiball, would it be too to ship to me?

I think with Flat rate boxes and some Creative Reinforcing it will be possible to ship anywhere in the US fairly reasonable. I wont sell any of the Jacks without a full Rebuild/Load Test, As most of them have been on the Shelf for Many Years. It probably wont be till spring till i get around to it...

Well.. Caroline is Very Knowledgable so i if she said it, Its true. Did you find out anything about the Jack stands? It doesnt suprise me about the Bottle Jacks, Its a very limited market outside of Farming/Heavy Equipment Service and the Cost difference between a Import unit and a USA Unit is tremendous. Thankfully i have shelves full of US units and there are still people who see the Quality and its sounds like the Price is going up.. LOL

Thanks for Following up.

I think im just gonna go for a 3 ton Norco bottle jack, 68 bucks isnt too bad. I didn't ask them about the jack stands because I'm fairly sure theyre discontinued since they crossed them out of the brochure.

I was also surprised how much cheaper it is to buy directly from Milwaukee Hydraulics instead of buying online. They sell the model 20 floor jack for $460, Other places on the internet are well over $600. Plus I can just drive 2 hours and pick it up at the factory

U.S. Jack is maybe the best out there. The 8 ton high range replaced the scissor jack in all US military humvee's. Supplied to Boeing, Lockheed Martin & Snap-On also. 100% USA made, not cheap though $.
Garage stands also, 3ton & 6ton. That is rated per each. Load tested to 1 1/2 x's the capacity.
On Amazon. Or google them. Good luck !
