Hello all, was looking into getting a tire and balancer for my small volume automotive shop. I know you generally get what you pay for but i'm not trying to break the bank with a top of the line coats or hunter machine. I've specifically been looking at the Atlas brand. Does anyone have any personal experience with them? How about Ranger? is there anything else out there decent around that price range? again this is for a small volume shop and do not plan on pushing too many tires. Thinking about having it there more as a convenience to my customers instead of sending them elsewhere. any thoughts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I would highly recommend baseline brand made by coats. Damn good machine designed for low volume shops. I've had my set for awhile now and nothing but good things to say. When you do need parts, coats carries everything g for them.

The coats baseline looks to be fantastic machines, i think they are assembled and tested in Tennessee. Ive been looking closely at the BL500, the only concern is the bead breaker will only handle rim width up to 10". How exact is that limit? I have summer rims thats 9.5" wide, but may go wider down the road.

I'd say 11 is about as far as it will go

About 2 years. About 5 sets a month and 20 or so repairs
