I'm in the market for an air foot pedal for an air/hydraulic bottle jack.. I've been wanting a press for what seems forever now.. well, I pulled the trigger on a HF 20 ton press this weekend.. I thought I would roll with that for awhile, and wait for a 20% off coupon for an air/hydraulic jack. Low and behold, as I took a gander at the jacks, they had the 20T A/H jack for 79 bucks. I couldn't resist!
Anyway, I've been looking at some of the mods for the press.. Casters are a must, and I'm thinking about the winch idea.. looks pretty slick. Anyways, I can see the usefulness of the jack being operated by foot. Not a "need" by any means, but for the 3 times a year I'll use the thing... why not?!
My searches for an air foot pedal have been somewhat discouraging.. Amazon reviews are terrible, fleabay is always a toss up, and grainger is just waaay more than what I want to pay for one.
anyone have any good leads on a good, cheap, functional air foot pedal?
