For the longest time I battled the pros and cons of flooring and decided to go with VCT. So far I do not regret this choice at all. Here's what it's looking like so farImageUploadedByTapatalk1377543217.788647.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1377543240.893084.jpg

Looks great!

How do you plan to seal it when you are done? What uses will this garage be put to?

Jim

I have my 2 1/2 car garage separated in two with drums, pool table, dry bar, bar stools on one side then tool bench, sport bike, car, as well as tool boxes and air compressor (shop stuff) This before I applied 3 coats of Roberts R8250 Universal Floor Polish.

Looking good! VCT would be my choice, if I owned instead of renting. I personally do not like the idea of floating tiles like RD or epoxy peeling from poor prep or tire heat, you should have a good looking floor for many years to come!

I'll post more pictures as I get it done and put my base boards back up. What sold me on VCT was I can buff it and reapply polish if not remove a few tiles rather than messing up the entire garage with epoxy

Very nice looking! You've covered some of the benefits of VCT very well here! Keep the forum informed of your longer term success. How well will the coating last before recoating? How well does it handle scratches/scuffs over time, dropped tools, rolling heavy carts, etc. What to do if there are any problems later, etc. thx! - Paul
