I'm trying to scrape some info together to help make my decision on a sectional steel garage a little easier.
So far, I'm torn between two offers from different suppliers:
30x30
10' walls
2 x roller doors + 1 pedestrian door
Anti-drip barrier in the roof
40x24
7' walls (11' ridge)
1 x roller door + 1 pedestrian door
1" insulation all round
Both come in around the same price, which is more or less on budget.
The extra height of the 30x30 is obviously an advantage (hoping to install a Maxjax)... but then again the insulated unit with 60 sq ft extra floor space is also tempting...
The garage has to store two cars while still having enough room to work on a third in comfort.
Has anyone got any advice/anecdotes/pictures of their experiences to offer?
I'd also like to hear from anyone who has retrofitted insulating boards into a steel garage...
Thanks!
