Deck and outdoor lighting choices

Hello all.

I'm going to be re-decking my deck this summer. In the process, I'm going to be adding some lighting. Some landscape lighting and some deck lighting. The thing is with, for example, deck stair lighting, a lot of it involves drilling into risers and such to mount the lights. I want to invest in a quality product that's going to last so I don't have to worry about replacing fixtures and in the process, having all these holes in the risers.

I'm looked into products by Volt, Dekor and Sterling. The Sterling seems like real nice stuff but only sells to contractors. Dekor is supposedly made in the US and a decent product.

My question is, does anyone have any long term experience with any of these companies, or any others?

We use the solar rechargeable lights, about $10 each. Work great.

I'm no help for brands, I bought the $2 post caps and made my own. They've got to be about 10 years old now, and still going strong. If one ever fails, I've got most of a roll of those LEDs and plenty of hot glue.
