Toledo bend, border TX/ LA, 30x40 shop, "pole barn" or all steel.

Call my buddy Luke. He built my shop and was great to work with. He's outta LA but does a bunch of work near you. For a 30x40, he'd probably be able to knock that out in 2-3 days max

Five Starr builders out of Waskom did both my shops. One was a 30x30 and one was a 30x40. I have no complaints about either one of them.

dv8 - So, no problems with unreasonable time delays?

What year/ month did you have them ?

The first one was built in winter and they started two weeks after I called. The second one was last summer when we had a ton of rain. They told me it would be 3 months before they could start but they called me after 2 months and said they had a cancellation. Process on each one was that they would come out and spread the pad dirt and frame it all in one day. Then a week later they would come back and pour the cement. Then the following week they come out and hang the steel. Finished job just three weeks after starting.

I asked because, they have a great price, and their work and Matl is good, BUT many said in the past they were stringed along BIG BIG time coming to finish.

I do have one very local guy had them do his building just a few month ago, and they did well in all respects.

I'm guessing you are in the East Texas Piney Woods, so I would recommend adding some pitch to your roof to help shed the needles/leaves. I lived in Beaumont for twenty years and had to clean the gutters every three months.
