deep magnetic sockets

I'm finding that I need some deep magnetic sockets. mostly 1/4 drive.
but they need to accommodate long studs, etc that the nut goes on.
I have regular magnetic sockets. any that are easily gotten ? thanks,

thanks, those are interesting. problem is that I only need a few sockets.
I find it interesting that folks are complaining that the sockets are shallow. do they not know the magnets are spring loaded ?

I have the matco adv/sunex set they are great but don't have the best clearance for studded bolts with the spring has to be pushed down

You might look at snap on has magnetic adapters that fit in like the smallest extensions

And the grey pneumatic and sunex offer 5-15mm

Where truck brands offer limited sizes like 7,8,10,12,13,14 it really depends on sizes you need

They all have a bolt clearance depth of 24mm.
The OAL of the sockets is 50mm.

I have a couple, the magnet on a spring, don't go in very much.

I'm switching to koken nut grip. It probably does the same thing.
The socket holds the nut and it's deep.

What about magnetic extensions? I have a few cheaper extensions from Sunex and Gearwrench. Or the magnetic inserts as mentioned.

I made my own adaptors for sockets I already had, used soft springs and magnets at varying lengths and 3 diameters spring/magnet to work across 8 to 19mm sizes. simply epoxied magnet either end of spring and slip one in socket when needed, works quite well and didn't cost $10 plus easy do 1 off for special scenario .

When I was young a good mechanic taught me to simply use a dab of wheel bearing grease in my sockets. Nice thing about that is, you can stick a nut and a washer to any socket an it isn't attracted to anything else.

I have done that... it works. Now I just stick a magnet on the side of the socket. If I'm using a ratchet... no problems from spinning too fast.

Great ideas guys ! Thanks so much. Yes, most of my career I used grease. Or a dab of gasgacinch. But kinda messy at times and I just thought I would step it up a bit. I may try making my own as I like doing stuff like that. Again, thanks !

^ do a trial one with a spring from likes of a pen and some 1mm or 2mm thick round neodymium magnets (easy get diameters of 6 to 15mm) The ratchet end magnet needs either catch socket bottom or ratchet drive end, I sized them to ratchet drive end.
On final ones I gave magnet ends couple plastidip coats as bit of protection. Has worked well in most scenarios once get use to best way use them and perhaps remove after nut/bolt started or when removing fastener fit on in socket after fastener already loosened most of it's thread run .
Other cheap tricks is bluetak or piece of paper to jam fastener in socket or spanner .
