I’m looking for a 1/4” deep socket that the hex broach goes all the way to the bottom of the socket. Does anyone know who makes a socket of this style?
Alot of my older Craftsman 1/4" deep sockets are broached full depth. Later versions are only broached near the working end. Stronger and easier to make - and cheaper.
Craftsman G or often V sets are the full broach ones to get. Sets of them are on Ebay for reasonable prices these days. Glad I have mine, as the full broach comes in handy more often than not.
