"deformable" LED bulb replacements?

The incredibly lazy (or cheap!) builder of the house I just moved into apparently decided that 3 single bulb sockets were enough to light an ~900sqft, 13' ceiling garage. Clearly this is VERY deficient, and I do plan on adding a number of light fixtures at some point in the future, but other priorities are demanding my spare cash at the minute.

As a stopgap for a year or so, I'm considering the 3 petal "deformable" LED bulbs. A number of these are on prime day special at about $20-30 a bulb. I'm not expecting magic, but am I wasting my time or would these work as at least a decent improvement over bare 100w LED bulbs? 80CRI is the best I can find which is meh, but I can live with it.

Any brand recommendations? They're all random chinese brands, so I'm not expecting professional grade equipment, just looking for NRTL cert (UL, ETL, etc.) and reasonable quality.

They're garbage, but will probably suffice until you can get something better. The problem is that they're unbelievably glarey simply by their poor design. But they're bright.
Another solution is to change the 3 sockets into a ceiling receptacle, which is pretty easy to do. Then you can add linear LED fixtures which will work much better.

All of my garage lights plug into switch controlled receptacles. It was a little more work when I wired them in, but I have a lot of flexibility in my lighting.
