I've started to see these lately. I don't know if there are good and bad brands, but for the money, I'd try one. They're pretty cheap.

The advertising for these are hilarious.

'Valuable Products Deserve the Money. You worth It.'
'Hit the Dark. It win always.'

There have been several threads on here about these style lights. In fact there was one just a few days ago.
Some people think they work decent, but there seems to be a fair amount of dislike, as they tend to not spread the light evenly.
Personally, I have never tried them.

I use the 4’ LED shop lights from Costco as I don’t have any Edison bases in my shop. I can see those “deformable” lights not casting a consistent light over the area....plus with all the “adjustments” it would be easier to break something off it it got hit or bumped.

I have that light in the attached garage and its bright as hell. It would be a lot better if you could rotate the led panels so they would point up then you could reflect the light off a bright colored ceiling or use it in a fixture with a reflector. When the panels are horizontal the light circle is kind of small, when you start adjusting them to spread the light you loose good lighting under the light and create shadows everywhere else.

It's an internet gimmick and as far as good lighting goes, they're complete ****.
If you just want gobs of light blaring into your eyeballs for very little money, go for it.

I bought 2 for less then $25, have one in the basement where the wife complained there was not enough light, now it's "too bright".
They work but are bright white which doesn't bother me for where they are but apparently bothers her.
