Hi. I have an old Delta 654, and I’m having trouble finding knives for it.
American National Knife makes a set listed as:
6-1/8 x 19/32 x 3/32 HSS planer blades
Before ordering, I wanted to check if anyone has successfully used the 19/32 height on a Delta 654. I tried 5/8 height knives, and they sit above my maximum outfeed table height. Since 19/32 is only slightly shorter than 5/8, I’m concerned they may still be close to the limit.
Has anyone confirmed what knife height actually works on this cutterhead?
