Delta 890 Riser Block

Has anyone installed a riser block on their 890? If so, how have you secured the head of the bolt so you could tighten the nut? There is no opening other than the small one for the electric line at the base of the arm which is too small for any tool I know of. I must be missing something. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Not sure of the age of yours, but I just picked up the one pictured. Would be happy to take closeup pics of anything needed. Planning on removing the riser block.

Mine is from the early 50's. The arm is closed above the block. Yours is exposed making it easy to put a wrench on the bolt head to hold it steady while you tighten the nut. Thanks.I'd post a picture but I'm having trouble.
