Delta AP100 ambient air cleaner

Just picked one of these up last night at Lowes. I got the floor model for a good deal so I jumped on it. I think I'm going to hang it in the middle of the cieling in my 2 car garage. I plugged it in at the store and it seems to move quite a bit of air.

Let us know how it works out. Do you have any information on the price for new filter or if the filter is cleanable reusable?

ShopNotes had an article on how to build one using furnace filters and a plywood box. Plan on building it this Spring.

I think you can clean the filters out yourself. I'll have to take a look.

Plan on doing the same thing. I had the furnace replaced last fall and I told the furnace installers to leave the old blower/motor unit. I don't know what the exact CFM specs will be but I have to believe it will move some air around.
