Picked this sucker up last week on an online auction. Guessed it would be heavy, but holy ****!! Think this might be a candidate for full teardown and restore to use in the shop! What u guys think, good user? Old delta tablesaw/jointer combo unit with original delta motor.

If that's the 6" long bed joiner, it's worth the price of admission right there. It's a solid table saw, as well, and capable of serious work. Do yourself a favor- try it out with the stock fence arrangement before you go out and buy a Biesmeyer or other aftermarket fence; you may find the micrometer adjustment handy.

I've got a very similar setup, mines branded as a JC Penney, but it was made by Delta. My table saw is a 9" blade which is pretty hard to find, but 8 1/4" blades work just fine.

So looks like a little more work. Either motor needs rebuild. Powers up, but not enough powers to turn blades. Might take a little longer than I thought, few other projects first

Yeah, everything about the thing is heavy! That's kinda what I like about it though. Caould throw a 4x8 sheet of osb up on it and not worry bout anything tipping over! Lol
