I found a drill press for sale locally and was wondering what would be a decent price for a Delta DP220 in decent working order. It is the floor model.

Thanks.

Thanks. I found one for a little less than that. I haven't looked at it yet, still waiting to hear back from the seller as to when I can go look at it.

Depends on model configuration and what "decent" condition means. They are a pretty lite press, ~3/8" max

I have one. I bought it locally from an ad on CL. I paid $75, the asking price. Beautiful shape - all original, clean table, no play, and even came with the optional retirement lamp. Sold by the son of the original owner. I was looking for one, and probably would have paid up to $200 for the right one. This one just happened to come along. It is a relatively "lightweight" press, but it's still worlds better than anything you can buy new in that price range.

They are pretty good home drill presses. Please note the had two different options - the slow and high speed version (different spindle pulleys). If there is a lot of gap between the spindle pulley and the front cover, that is the high speed version. I like the low speed version as it is better for drilling metal.
