Delta used a variety of color schemes from the 1930-60s. In the mid 1930s up to about 1937 it would have looked like this:
This would be representative of the gray green you mentioned. A color variant of this would return again after Rockwell sold off Delta, but that would be decades later.
The blue gray I showed you in my previous post was fairly consistent throughout most of the 40s, becoming a slightly lighter color by the 1950s. That lighter color would have looked like this:
Every machine in that photograph is from the year 1950.
The question posed was what would it have looked like in 1946; the grinder shown was from 1947, that is the color it would have been in that time period. With WWII over in 1945, war restrictions would not have affected Delta's color scheme in 1946 or 47.
