We are selling my father's shop tools and I was hoping someone could tell me how much this is worth. He inherited this from his brother in 1957 He took excellent care of his tools.

Where are you located? What is the HP of the motor? Floor model or bench model? Distance from the chuck to the pole in the back? We need More information. From just the picture around $100.

Hmmm......from the Delta tag style, and the darker shade of grey, that one might be a mid-1940's machine.

Its the 'slow speed' version, and has the uncommon original options of the small work lamp, and the three-spoke feed handle.

If its condition is really as good as appears to be in that photo, a real Delta enthusiast might value that one in the $300-$400 range.

I had one that good, albiet with out the retirement lamp, which didn't sell for $100. All the wimps today won't touch it because it doesn't have a crank table lift ;>)

If I'd been in the mood, I could have parted it out on eBay and netted that $300-400, but that's work and I'm retired.

BillMary, Carla hit it pretty much right on for my area of S.W. Ohio also. $3-$400 would be about right. That's a nice machine! Looks to be well cared for. Lots of desirable parts. Would like to know what the table looks like under that wood. Does it have an original Delta motor? What HP of motor, rpm, voltage, and phase? Any run out in the spindle? All features that affect price. More pictures would help, and where are you located? Would be proud to bring that one home!
