It has the table lift but for $250, idk. I would be interested in the storage cabinet behind it though.

It is not worth more than $100 tops. I have sold a dozen of them. Delta has machinery made all over. Some of it comes from Brazil and it is very good.
Never pay more than a $100 for any bench drill press. You can find them for $50. At least I do now and then. Some of the Delta smaller drill presses were real ****. I have turned into a Jet fan. They make great machinery now and it does not matter where it is made. I have quite a few pieces in my own shop and it is all smoother than my Delta machines.

It's a Delta Model 14-040. Somewhere between 10 to 24 years old. Yes, it's an import, but it's not ****. It was made before Black & Decker bought Delta, when even some of their import machines were fairly decent. Not as good as their older USA-made machines, but better than what they made during the time Black & Decker owned them.

$250 is about double what it's worth, although the Allen-Bradley magnetic starter on it is worth $50 all by itself.

Likely purchase from GovLiquidation as Fort Riley is right there at Junction City, KS. Like the cabinet but would like it better for $75 ;)

RCStocker, where is your store? Do you have an online inventory we can browse?

wildcatvette,

I personally think that is a bit high for that press, especially in that condition. However after looking at your local CL, it looks like drill presses are kinda far and few between in your neck of the woods.

If you really want a bench model I would try and hold out for an OLD Cman, Delta, Walker Turner, Atlas or the like. If you can swing the floor space, a floor drill press is much handier and actually takes up less floor space.
