I have a line on a 15" Delta Drill Press 15-107.
I'm thinking it's a solid DP but I could be wrong. Any observations or comments would be welcome.
Thanks

They want $250. Says it was pulled apart, cleaned, bearing greased and painter. According to the ad it's plug-n-play.
What's the difference between the two models?

Haven't seen it run, still in the 'kicking it around' stage. I'd like to see the price drop to $200.

Looks pretty good and the price is reasonable. Biggest issue I see is that it's only 4 speed and lacks table lift.

That's a really light table. I wouldn't worry too much a bout a lift. I'd worry more about flex. Lift the table to near the top and bring the chuck down to it with some force. That will tell you about both.

...but add a vise and the material to be drilled and using a manual table can be a PIA. (probably not an issue for infrequent homeowner/light duty use.) I don't drill a single hole without using table lift to position the bit as close to the subject as possible. However everyone's needs and usage patterns are different so YMMV. (just something the OP has to consider.)

Table lift would not be an issue due to there being plenty of diy ways to lift the table and if you are patient enough you can score on that will fit this drill on eBay.

$250 is not bad if the motor works, the bearings don't squeak much, and the quill isn't bent. I probably overpaid for mine at $325 but it was very clean and hadn't been in industrial or vocational school service. There's a 15-091 listed locally on CL that looks very clean for $265.
