I ran across a Delta model 50-760 with a cyclone. I think a 2012 per serial number and a 120/240 motor. 1.5 HP. It also has a Oneida Super Dust Deputy with about a 10 gallon Oneida drum. Looks in great shape. I can’t find a similar unit. He wants $700. What ya think? I don’t have a photo. Craig

Without pics it seems a bit high, the DD is about $300 new, the DC without it is roughly a $150-$200 machine on the used market. Is the DC still bags or is there a pleated filter?

The review I found of the DC is from 2008, so it could be older than 2012, even if it is 2012, $700 for an 11 year old machine still seems high.

The dust deputy is less than 200.00 on Amazon without the barrel container. not sure about the single stage dust collector, 700.00 does seem high unless you get a decent filter with it. Wynn filters are not cheap, if it includes one of those.

With the barrel it is $269 on Amazon free Prime ship, I was just looking at the Oneida site assuming it would be $269 plus shipping.

Agree. That is high for the combo. The pleated filters are really expensive, but used DD with tiny dust deputy, not gonna command that price.

The guy said it’s a 2 stage but, I don’t see that in any specs. I’m not sure about the filters and such. The bag on top was heavy duty material. I’m new to dust collection. I’ll try to get a better picture. Maybe I should pass or WIW?

Maybe he's counting the cyclone is one stage and the dust collector is the second

The "2 stage" refers to the use of the cyclone separator in place in front of the collector. It should capture about 95% or more of the fine dust and all of the big chips. So the bag on the collector won't need to be emptied frequently - if at all. I agree with others - the price is high if you can wait.

I usually shop around for deals on used tools which has allowed me to "upgrade" to larger equipment at very reasonable prices. I'm also handy at repairs which helps a lot. I got this dual bag Powermatic collector as well as a Grizzly dual bag collector from a cabinet shop - both were sold as-is for $300 total. I replaced a faulty capacitor on the Grizzly collector and sold it for $350 - more than I paid for both collectors. Plugged in the Powermatic collector and it ran just fine - so it was even better than free. The cyclone separator that I already had is visible behind the collector.

$700 ?

No.

Dust deputy large one was $200 , 2hp delta used? Dunno but the 2hp hf is about $250.

I got a delta off Craigslist with the dust deputy for $250.

If you are in nyc area some guy sells a custom brand call studio or something for $200 and the dust collector for $200 those are new . There is the 5 micron large filter that was another $200 if you want that dunno the price now.
