Just picked up a used Delta model 37-380 jointer

I need a new plastic knob for the rack and pinion- See B in pic
Any idea where to source?

I would also like to do some touch up on the light gray coat of paint- See pic
Has anyone found an equivalent rustoleum, etc. product?

What’s the diameter of the shaft it goes on?

Carr lane has hundreds of knobs. You may have to drill the spring pin hole that retains it however.

They would be metal to boot

Surprised there's not a parts list in the manual

Gotta use your imagination, and look outside the manual. Not sure what is the difference between type 1 vs 2 in the real world. Looks like its only sold as a piece with the gear, when it was available.

My local Ace has some knobs like that, no idea the shaft sizes they fit tho. Might be worth a trip, see if there is enough meat to drill it out if its a touch too small.

McMaster, if you want to drill down further they are usually made by Elesa or Kipp at least for European machines. Not sure who delta would source from but they will be similar.

Thanks to everyone who responded about the knob

Anyone have one of these and found paint for touch up?
