........Looks like a 12", has the nice cast iron table with miter gauge slot and yes it will work well for wood and metal. Awesome to have in the shop.

I’m with macgee, that sure looks like a 12” model. And I further agree that it’s a nice machine to have in the shop. I bought one several years ago and finally restored it last summer. I use it daily and now wish I had restored it sooner.

It’s a Delta Milwaukee 10” disc sander.

Guys finally was able to get something worked out on the sander. After asking the guy selling it a couple more questions on Feb 7th and not getting a response I reached back out to him yesterday and he finally responded. Well picked it up for $50. For it home and it is indeed a 12” and needs a new plug and a real good cleaning. What type of disc are you guys running for metal? Here is some pics of it

"To remove the sandpaper from disc, use a heat gun applying heat across the entire sand paper, it should peel right out easily and then use Goof-Off to remove the residue, a couple applications should do it and wipe disc with rubbing alcohol or acetone before applying new sandpaper. The whole process can pretty pretty quick. Then just use fresh PSA sandpaper discs, not the one you have to apply glue on to it (that's too old school)."
Please note it looks like it is missing the guard for the top half of the disk.
...just missing the upper cover...
