Anyone know the difference between a Type 1 & 2 Delta 22-560 Planer Model? Trying to find out so that I don’t get the wrong parts. Manual shows 1996 date on it.

I suspect 90% the same between the two. Look for your broken part, see if its the same on both. If not, gotta look closer. Very few parts available, so it may not matter @ ereplacmentparts.com

Thanks and you’re correct about their not having many replacement parts. I did check the differences sorta and they are pretty much the same at least before I got stopped. My model apparently was made in 1996-1998 as I also found a revised parts list dated 1998.
My buddy sold my this and a fixed router for $35 and said the both work. I’m cleaning up the planer somewhat before I dive into it. Plan to turn it on tomorrow to see if it turns on. No dust chute (why I’m asking about the differences) so I’ll try it out in the driveway.
As sn aside, I they my family asked what I wanted for Christmas and I showed them to different plunging routers, Bosch & Dewalt. Bosch was on sale first and when I didn’t hear that I got one, I sent out the Dewalt because it was on sale. Didn’t hear anything. Christmas morning comes and my daughter gives me the Bosch and my wife and other daughter got me the Dewalt. My oldest asked if they are the same but I didn’t say anything..I’ll attach to a router table….hehehe!
