I recently purchased this used machine in a school auction. It was not working. Manually rotated motor, no joy. I checked the fuse, its good. I bypassed the switch, no joy. Moved the speed pot up and down while powered up, no joy. Bypassed the speed controller hooking 120vac supply voltage direct to motor and it would run but in slow speed only (I think that is normal), replaced potentiometer and no joy, there is a red light coming on on speed board when powered. So i am assuming that the speed controller board is bad. Any ideas or thoughts. I know that factory parts are out of the equation . Anybody replaced the speed controller with an aftermarket item?
