Seems like a really good price for a Unisaw, as long as it's in good condition. Find out what voltage it requires - some of them run on three phase power so aren't a good choice for home use.

Good deal! Go get it.

Not "old iron", but you will have a nice saw, and could always make money if you decide to sell.

Hi guys, I have been looking at this saw and wanted to know if it was a good deal. Could someone with better knowledge then me regarding this saw let me know if it is worth it or not. http://honolulu.craigslist.org/oah/tls/4375323222.html thanks guys.

That's a steal!

If it's three phase, a phase converter is $100.

You can even buy a new single phase motor specifically for that saw for $375 IIRC.
Even with the cost of the new motor and switch still a hell of a deal considering your location.

Run...Run to the bank, atm, change drawer etc. Go get this saw.
A used vintage Unisaw commands $5-600 (or more) here .
You can thank me by sending some curly Koa and pheasant wood to the mainland.

Used table saw values have taken a beating in the past several years but I have to imagine that's a steal in Hawaii.

That looks to be the factory side extension and legs on it. Just that fence rail, fence, legs and mobile base would be worth over $250 new.
