Can i put down a denisifier (just a denisifier, not anything else including a denisifier/water proofer) before rust bullet?

I decided to reach out ti rust bullet and they said it is no issue. Not suggested. We have some specific installations where it is done, but it is the exception not the rule.

I appreciate the input.[emoji106] Have at it.....
I'm not trying to be a wise a.... But its fine until it fails. Likely they are saying it is ok because of a couple of very special circumstances we did it with. They did not have an answer at the time, we sent some tech documents and they thought it would work. We did some testing and some more testing and there are in fact ways to make it work. And there are ways to make it fail. If you look on their site, many if not most of their photos for garage floors are our test projects. In fact we wrote a lot of the guidelines. Things have since changed some.
Bottom line, you are taking a huge risk. Unless you have a reason to do it, don't. If you have a reason to do it, it needs to be done right or your floor will fail.
I appreciate the input.
I guess my question is why wouldnt i do it? Might as well make the concrete as strong as possible. Although my floor is 4500psi...i figure it can't hurt, but if it will fail, then obviously i don't want to do it.

Does that mean a densifier is only beneficial if you plan on polishing?I hate to use this source and it is not worded the way I would word it, but have a look at this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Concrete_densifier
Every coating, including Rust Bullet, relies on its ability to penetrate and bond to the surface. With Rust Bullet, its formulation will allow it to stick better then say an epoxy, without grinding or etching. But you are walking a fine line. By definition, the application of a densifier reduces the porosity of the concrete. That means Rust Bullet penetrates even less. That exponentially increases, if not guarantees, the chances of failure of prep work is not done.

Justin, can you stain prior to densifier then use ghost shield? or will it all become too dark?
