Ok. . . So I'm coming to the completion on my 30 x 40 x 10 Dutchway Pole Barn. One of my first priorities would be to address the floors. I'm looking for a simple application that will protect the floor from oil, road salt and maintenance free!

During my research I have come across a product called DensiCrete by Wicktek. It is a densifier that hardens and protect from the oil and salt.

The supplier feels this is the next best this to sliced bread but I'm not seeing many reviews.

I'm hoping that someone on this forum has used the product and can give some feedback. . . Anyone?

Look into ghost shield products. I used the 4500 densifier and the 8505 top coat. Only product dot approved for bus garages. Nothing sticks to it.

I have posted some me here in earlier threads. I'm on the road traveling so I don't have access to my other devices.

So many companies selling the same basic product it's hard to decide what is best.

From what I read here ---> DensiCrete <--- it sounds like the same type of product I ended up using.

I used ---> Eagle Natural Seal <--- on the concrete slab in my barn.

It's available from Home Depot, $78.92 for a 5 gallon pail. Shipped to your door for free.

It doesn't change the look of the concrete, just seals it.

Water beads up nicely.

When I was installing my lift about a quart of fluid leaked out onto the floor, I cleaned it up, you can't tell it ever happened.

Here's a photo of the finish cured Eagle Natural Seal. Turned out well.

Densifier's serve a different purpose with your concrete. They are not the final treatment but just a step in a process. It comes down to what you want the floor to do. Mine is a working shop. But a party room could use it too if your polishing the final product.
