Densifier and stain

Starting to plan for a garage build and developing plans and costs.

I would like to stain my concrete slab (approx 1,000 - 1,300 sqft). I know I have to wait a month or even more before I do anything but I have a couple of questions for sealing or coating.

I like the idea of a densifier. Can I acid stain the concrete first and then apply a densifier like the ghost shield 4500? It seems applying the densifier first will make it harder for the stain to penetrate. Can I then apply a clear top coat or sealer of some kind over the densified slab?

The next question is what to put over the stain. I expect the garage to see some moderate to heavy hobbyist use. Jack stands, floor jacks, moving pallets around , engine stands, the inevitable dropped tools or heavy item and something that can be touched up or easily re-coated would be great.
MUST be oil and solvent resistant. I spill no matter how hard I try not to!

There may be a section which I set up as a man cave area that will see very light use so maybe I want a different coating there that is more "finished" looking?

Thanks!

The densifier will effectively block good adhesion of your clear coat. Acid stain the concrete first. The acid will also help prep the concrete for a clear coat. After it has been neutralized, rinsed, and the concrete dried well, you can then apply your clear coat. We recommend a clear single-part polyurea. It stands up very well to chemicals and abrasion. Two coats should be enough. Many of the vendors here offer them.

Shea is 100% correct. If you plan on putting on any topical protection, you don't want to do anything to the slab to impede adhesion.
