The dental picks i bought from ebay did not come with a case, so i tried a toothbrush holder and they all fit perfectly.

I lay mine out flat in a drawer for easy access. Your method does take up less room if space is tight.

I have mine in a small clear jar. If I find a stirage need and don't have something at the house I go to the store like wal mart and look at food containers, etc that will fit my needs. Way cheaper than purpose made stuff.

That looks like the HF set:
https://www.harborfreight.com/6-piece-pick-set-93514.html

I picked up one of those to help my wife pull the seal from our Ninja smoothie maker for cleaning (I didn't want to use any "shop" picks on kitchen stuff). She liked it so much, she kept the whole set, so I had to buy a second set, because I too liked them a lot.

They're not true dental tools (as they lack scraping edges). They're dental "style", but for shop use at picking out o-rings and stuff, that's a GREAT set. I happen to keep them in one of the thin drawers in a Kennedy box where they fit well, but I like the toothbrush holder idea.

Another idea is the plastic "zip" tubes that end mills come in. If you work at a machine shop, or know someone that does, they usually just toss them out.

The plastic cases that the BMW fuel injectors come in make great holders for things like this too.
