This site and it's occupants have helped me roll with the punches several times so I figure I'd throw some of my photos together to show some of the progress I've made so far. At the bottom of the page here is a link to all the photos, but I'll put some photos up here anyways. The shop is about 25'W x 35'L. The floor is gray, although it has a green tint in some of the pics. I checked around for pre-built cabinets etc., but decided to just build 'em again. :) We'll see if that changes- lol.

Thanks a bunch. It is a pretty cool location over all. Lots of branches, pine cones, needles etc., but that's the price- lol. The shop is down the hill from the house and sorta like it's own planet once inside- another lol. I'm in the process of slowly moving items over from our other place which is still for sale, as many could suspect, but the positive aspect of it is that I could clear this one out and work on it before hand. I figure, once stuff is moved in, it's exponentially more difficult to do the floor, paint the walls etc. and it would never get done. Anyways, the previous owner left quite a bit of stuff for me to sift through before I could move on. The rest went for free on craigslist, or to the landfill. I'll post more as I go along, although this thread won't be as interesting as the skunkworks. Perhaps down the road as things move along. First things first.:)

:)
I've lived in tract housing all my life and finally moved to a more rural area. Our last place was on the corner of a busy intersection, diagonal from a 24hr Circle-K (convenience store). Big rigs turned on our corner up to, I'd say, 100 times a day or more. On the other hand, I used to be able to roll out the trash cans in about a minute- lol. I happen to like Texas and Louisiana!
