Last year I build a garage addition, 17'7 x 24'added onto my existing 2 car garage 21' x 21'. The addition includes a Bendpak scissors lift with 2 recessed lift pads in the floor. I need recommendations on how to design and order Racedeck or Swisstrax type flooring around the lift pads.
Considerations:
1. After adding floor tile, the lift pads must include a surface equal to the flooring thickness to equalize flooring and pads. No loss of lift height or trip hazard.
2. Must prevent, best as possible, water and **** from flowing down into the pad recesses and causing corrosion. Some type of solid tile or lip around the pads?
3. Tie into the main 21' x 21' garage through the doorway on right of drawing
4. Look cool
Any suggestions, anybody?
